Available Coverages

Bodily Injury will pay medical and hospital expenses to people injured in an accident for which you are found responsible. If several people are injured, this low-cost insurance provides substantial coverage against financial ruin.

Property Damage will pay for damage to the property of others such as vehicles, buildings, mailboxes, fences, etc., when you are found responsible for that damage.

Uninsured Motorists protects you and other people specified in your policy if injury by a driver without insurance or by a hit and run driver. This coverage also protects you and resident relatives as pedestrians from uninsured drivers.

Underinsured Motorists protects you for bodily injury caused by a driver with some liability insurance, but not enough insurance to pay for all the damages you are legally entitled to collect.

Medical Services Expenses coverage can be very important because of the rising cost of hospital and medical care. Coverage is provided for you and your passengers for injuries resulting from an accident. This coverage is different from bodily injury liability because it pays for injuries to you and your passengers.

Car Damage Coverages

Other Than Collision (commonly referred to as comprehensive) covers most damage to your car other than collision, such as fire, theft, explosion, glass claims, vandalism, or a collision with an animal.

A partial list of covered damage would include fire, theft, explosion, earthquake, windstorm, hail, water, flood, malicious mischief or vandalism, or collision with an animal.

Collision pays for damage to your car should you collide with another car or object. It pays for repair costs even when you cause the accident up to the value of your car at the time of the accident, minus your deductible.

When you purchase Collision and Other Than Collision coverages, the policy automatically pays for temporary transportation expenses (rental car) when your car is stolen or disabled due to a covered loss.

We provide up to $20 per day, up to a maximum of $600. Higher limits are available for a minimal charge.

Optional Coverages

In addition to these basic coverages, your agent may recommend one or more of the following:

Travel Pac Endorsement pays up to $250 for meals, lodging, emergency telephone calls, and costs of transportation if a covered loss occurs to your car and you are more than 200 miles from home.

Towing and Labor Costs pays when your auto is disabled. You may choose from limits of $50, $75, or $100.

Auto Loan/Lease Coverage provides coverage for the difference between the unpaid amount due on the loan/lease and the actual cash value of the car.

Death Indemnity pays your spouse or your estate the limit of the coverage purchased if you are fatally injured in an auto accident.
